Approved Land Use Code Amendment re: SF-D Single Family Duplex Lot Size
(updated 11-7-06)
City Council Approves Code Amendment
At the November 6, 2006 meeting, the City Council approved an amendment to the Issaquah Land Use Code to allow each unit of a duplex to occupy its own lot of 3,000 square feet in the SF-D (Single Family – Duplex) Zoning District.
This amendment would still result in a maximum of two units on a minimum of 6,000 square feet of land as currently allowed. The code amendment has been made to provide an alternative form of ownership of individual units within a duplex.
