Group Exercise Classes
In partnership with the Issaquah Parks & Recreation Department, the following organizations provide group fitness classes:

  • Every Way Fitness
  • FIT Zone
  • Jazzercise
  • Mommy & Me Fitness
  • Tai Chi

Every Way Fitness
Kristina Gravette offers two options for group exercise and conditioning. Find a program that works for your schedule and workout style!

Aerobics & Conditioning Class
This class uses low-impact aerobics, yoga, Pilates, step, hand weights, ankle weights, Xertubes and even chairs to achieve your fitness goals. Work at your own level to build cardiovascular fitness, coordination, strength, stamina, balance and flexibility.

Small Group Personal Training
Save money on personal training with a group of two to four people! Get the custom-designed workout, accountability, support, experience and expert guidance that comes with having a personal trainer, plus the added benefit of working out with friends — more fun and greater motivation to stick with it!

FIT Zone
Exit your comfort zone, and enter the FIT Zone! Push your body to new limits. Exercise in a safe manner, while having fun and achieving real results. Combine traditional calisthenics with body weight exercises and mix interval training and strength training. These efficient and challenging workouts are designed to be fun while producing the desired results, i.e. improving your body! And as an added bonus, become a part of a supportive and motivational community of like-minded people!

Jazzercise
The program that you know and love is offered at the Issaquah Community Center, Monday through Saturday, morning and evening. Daily drop-in rates are available, or you can take advantage of special option pricing.

Mommy & Me Fitness
Each 60-minute total body workout incorporates a warm-up, cardio, muscular, strength/endurance and stretching. It combines traditional calisthenics, plyometrics and aerobics with strength training using hand weights, resistance bands, medicine balls and much more. Every class will be different, often combining various methods of exercise to keep things fresh and exciting! It's great for all levels of fitness, as instructors will provide modifications. These efficient and challenging workouts are designed to boost your metabolism, burn fat, strengthen your muscles and best of all, for you to bring your little ones along!

Tai Chi

This Chinese martial art promotes health by reducing bodily tension and stress, improving balance and coordination, increasing joint flexibility, calming the breath and clearing the mind. Relaxation is the central principle behind tai chi's postures and continuous flowing movement. There are both beginning and continuing form classes offered.
