Your Parks, Your Future

Issaquah's parks are your parks  help shape your future!

As our community evolves and our needs change, we're working with residents, visitors, and other park and trail users to set our vision for future investments in Issaquah's parks, trails and open space.

Identifying our community's vision for Issaquah's parks system is critical. In the weeks ahead, you'll have many opportunities to share your vision for our community's parks, trails, open space and recreation opportunities.

Engagement
During our first phase of public input last spring, community members provided valuable feedback – thank you! Learn more about the feedback we've received so far via our Public Engagement Summary

Common themes were identified that helped us create a framework for future projects within Issaquah’s parks system.

As a next step, we’re seeking input via two separate surveys:
  • A budget exercise – spend $100 in Parks Bucks!
  • A priorities exercise – provide feedback on specific trail corridors, existing parks, athletic fields, open space and new parks/amenities.

Community members are encouraged to complete both surveys. The deadline is Nov. 17, 2017.

This input will help identify the projects we want to focus on during the next six years.

Timeline
We anticipate the final Parks Strategic Plan will go to the City Council for adoption in late 2017.
