    The Planning Policy Commission will hold a hearing on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at 6:30 PM in the Council Chambers, 135 E. Sunset Way. The purpose of the hearing is to take public testimony on: 1. Proposed amendments to the Issaquah Municipal Code and Central Issaquah Development and Design Standards prohibiting Safe Injection Sites (also called Community Health Engagement Locations); and 2. The docket (list) of proposed Issaquah Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Map amendments for 2018, including but not limited to: a. Proposed changes to Land Use Element based on 2018 population numbers; b. Proposed changes to the Land Use Element regarding policies for compact schools; c. Proposed changes to the Land Use Element regarding Transfer of Development Rights; and d. Proposed changes to Zoning Map, including: Community Facilities designations and rezones for public land that is used for public purpose. These proposed amendments may change as a result of the public review p
