This Department includes the Mayor, City Administrator, and Deputy City Administrator. Under the direction and authority of the Mayor, the City Administrator supervises, administers, and coordinates the activities and functions of the various City officers, departments, commissions, and boards in implementing the requirements of City ordinances and the policies of the City Council; assures the effective and efficient utilization of City employees, funds, materials, facilities, and time; directs and controls the overall operations of the City to assure optimum services to the community. In addition, the legal and personnel functions are under the direct supervision of the City Administrator.
The Deputy City Administrator reports to the Mayor and the City Administrator, providing broad administrative support by overseeing and/or managing interdepartmental and public projects and communications.
Human Services Coordinator, Steve Gierke, (425-837-3022) oversees the Community Development Block Grants and Human Service Programs.
Arts Coordinator, Amy Dukes, (425-837-3024) works with Arts Commission.
Communications Coordinator, Autumn Monahan (425-837-3026), oversees the development and implementation of the City's communications program.
