Public Works Engineering

Roundabout Construction
Roundabout Construction

The City's Public Works Engineering Department is responsible for providing administrative services, capital facilities planning, design and construction administration for the City's transportation system, stormwater collection system, water supply and distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection and other capital facilities.  Within the Department are also the Resource Conservation Office and the Major Development Review Team.

The Resource Conservation Office (RCO) manages programs in the areas of water quality, water conservation, solid waste recycling and management, commute trip reduction and sustainable resources.  The Major Development Review Team (MDRT) oversees and manages large Urban Village development projects including Issaquah Highlands and Talus.

We strive to continually improve the quality of life for the citizens of the City and to those who use our many facilities through development and implementation of a wide variety of projects and programs in Transportation, Utilities, Resource Conservation and through our management of the two Urban Villages in the MDRT.  Please feel free to contact us if you have questions about any of our projects or programs.
