The City of Issaquah is an official Passport Acceptance Facility, providing general information on passport procedures and serving as liaison between applicants and the U.S. Passport Services Agency. The actual decision to issue or deny a passport is made only by a U.S. Passport Services Agency, not the City of Issaquah.
The City Clerk's Office provides passport services from 10 AM – NOON and 1 – 4 PM, Tuesdays & Wednesdays only. We are located on the second floor of City Hall, 130 East Sunset Way.
Effective July 13, 2010 new passport fees will go into effect.

Passport applications are now taking up to 6-8 weeks to process. For an additional $60, applicants can expedite their applications, which now takes up to 2-3 weeks to process.
All Applicants must appear in person. Notarized or unofficial photocopies of official documents (e.g. birth certificate, marriage certificate, adoption decree) are NOT acceptable. The documents submitted must be the original or certified copies from the issuing agency.
Children Under 16
- Must present evidence of parental relationship (e.g. birth certificate, adoption decree) IN ADDITION to citizenship evidence (e.g. passport, birth certificate).
- Are affected by the Two-Parent Consent Law.
