Leadership Discussion Notes - March 8, 2004

Ava, Leon, David, Fred and Nancy met and discussed:

Police and other activities on Almak – David discussed some ongoing activities at Almak Street.

Issues coming forward from Land Use Committee – Discussed the upcoming work from the Land Use Committee regarding annexations.  Need to provide direction regarding discussions with King County and the homeowners.

National Affordable Housing Panel – Ava has asked to be on a panel at this convention in Minnesota in May.  She has been asked by ARCH and they will be paying for her expenses.

Issaquah Transit Center – Discussed citizen concerns regarding security.  With the fire station, police satellite facilities and security cameras, the transit center should be more secure than the current conditions.

March COW – Discussed COW agenda topics including transportation concurrency, water supply options, SE Bypass, Camp Creek Slide, and other topics.
