2008 Construction Projects & Traffic Alerts

Project Information

Public Works Engineering is managing several construction projects in 2008.  Click on the figure at the right to download a detailed figure showing where construction will occur in 2008.  Projects are classified into street, water, sewer, stormwater, and other agency.

Additional project information on transportation projects can be found on the 2008 Transportation Project page.

Traffic Considerations

Normal construction hours for projects not located on principal roadways are 7 am to 6 pm weekdays.  If necessary, construction is allowed on Saturday with prior approval.  Special work hours, for certain projects to avoid peak hours on major arterials, are noted in the project descriptions.

Although many measures are typically taken to reduce traffic impacts, traffic will likely be delayed through the construction zones. When planning your trips through Issaquah please use alternative routes, or travel during non-construction hours, to minimize the possibility of being delayed by construction activities.

Current Status

For the current status of construction projects, move your mouse over the project labels on the map below to identify specific projects and (when clicked) take you to specific project information, including links to more detailed project web pages.
